Procession (Walking down the aisle)

Greetings and Welcome

On behalf of ______and ____________their families, I welcome you.
Some words from the Chaplain on Marriage:

We acknowledge that marriage is a process in which our lives as individuals are realized in relationship to that of another. None of us know what lies ahead but my prayer for you is that the vows of love, which you will exchange today, will embrace you with all the courage, hope and grace you will ever need. May your friendship deepen and may you always respect and cherish all that makes you the individuals who you are.

Who gives this woman to marry this man?

Father:  Her mother and I do.
Or both parents: We do.
Or children: We do.

Call to the Couple.

_Bride_ through your love for Groom_, may he find a greater sense of who he is meant to be. And _Groom_, may your love for Bride allow her to grow to be the woman she is meant to be. May you each always relax in each other’s arms knowing that there is no one whose love you can depend upon more.  And, may your partnership be a source of light and inspiration to your families, your friends, and all whom you come in contact with, and may they be the same to you.

The Introduction as Husband and Wife.
It gives me great pleasure to introduce Mr. and Mrs. ___________________!

Please note: You may decide what of the above you want to use and in what order. If you decide you do not want to use the steps, it’s OK. All we must do is somewhere in the Ceremony you both must agree to be married.  This is YOUR ceremony, YOUR way and in the planning stages this is the time to design it to fit the people and relationship that YOU have.
